I am glad that Walmart is being a forward-thinking, responsible company. Indeed, there was a time when having a company in the U.S. was a privelege, not a right, and was judged by what they gave to society, not by what they took. To this end, I am concerned that Walmart continues to "Starbuck" small towns with dominating presence. This is not a sustainable practice I can list, and I assure you, most small town shops would agree. What is your response to this, please?

Paul, I couldn't agree more. WalMart is doing a fabulous job. Their suppliers are largely our (McDonald's) suppliers, so the more "demand" their is, the more we can keep advancing sustainability as a normal part of supplier expectations and deliverables.
